LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Monday night's women's game against UConn will be about more than basketball.
The game is senior night for the five seniors on the team, including Native American Shoni Schimmel. The chance to see Schimmel's last home game has drawn over 1,500 Native Americans from as far away as Alaska to Louisville. Schimmel says its "cool" to be a role model for Native Americans and is proud of the stereotypes she and her sister have broken.
The Cards and Huskies tip off at 7 Monday night with a share of the conference title and a potential number one seed in the NCAA Tournament on the line.
