FRANKFORT, Ky -- A pot crop in Franklin County is harvested by sheriff's deputies. - The crop was reported by a citizen who spotted it behind a large mound of dirt behind a development site along U-S 60.
Sheriff Pat Melton says the plot had 113 plants valued at more than $200,000. It was in such a difficult place the Sheriff's Department needed the Franklin County Fire Department's assistance to remove the plants.
No arrests have been made but the investigation continues.
