LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A downtown hot dog vendor is indicted from an alleged road rage incident.
67-year old Donald Hayes, who operates a hot dog stand outside the Hall of Justice, was indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury for murder, in the June 27th shooting death of Danny Wilson.
The two are thought to have gotten into a dispute on the Watterson, which continued after they exited onto Poplar Level Road, with Hayes accused of shooting into Wilson's car, in a business parking lot.
Hayes is expected to be arraigned on Monday. A special prosecutor is being sought, since members of the Commonwealth's Attorney's office have been clients.
